Eagle Rock at Aireys Inlet on the Great Ocean Road.

Sunday was set aside for photography and the destination was Eagle Rock at Aireys Inlet on the Great Ocean Road. With uncertain weather conditions the Great Ocean Road never fails to surprise and today was no different to any other. After having arrived on location I decided to pack light as I made my way down the steps and onto the coastline.

The gear I packed was a new Mamiya 645 Sekor 45mm f/2.8 lens using the Fotodiox Pro TLT ROKR adapted to my GFX50s. The goal was to achieve a stitched image using 2 files by shifting the lens which allows for a seamless stitch.

As the sun began to set on the horizon a beautiful glow illuminated Eagle Rock enhanced together with a low tide for that perfect reflection. The 2 image stitch provided a 90mp file with lots of detail allowing for effortless large scale printing.

This image shown below was the result of Sunday’s excursion to Aireys inlet on the Great Ocean Road.
