Photography Gear Used to Create Fine Art

"Fujifilm GFX camera gear including GFX body, medium format lenses, and accessories used for professional photography"

FUJIFILM GFX50S (IR) body

It combines outstanding resolution of 51.4 megapixels with exceptional tones, advanced colour reproduction and high-performance lenses.

This particular GFX 50S has been professionally converted to full-spectrum, dramatically expanding its creative potential. By removing the internal infrared-cut filter, the camera can now capture a wider range of light—from ultraviolet through visible to infrared—depending on the external filter used.

With the right filters, photographers can explore a vast spectrum of effects:

  • 720nm IR filters produce stunning black and white infrared images with deep contrast and ethereal glow.

  • 590nm or 665nm filters offer false-color infrared photography with dreamlike hues.

  • Aerochrome-style effects can be achieved using specialized IR chrome filters, replicating the classic Kodak Aerochrome look with vivid reds and surreal color shifts.

This full-spectrum GFX 50S transforms an already outstanding medium format system into a uniquely versatile tool for fine art, landscape, and experimental photography, unlocking visual possibilities far beyond what’s visible to the naked eye.

FUJIFILM GFX100 body

GFX100 pairs a back-illuminated 102MP imaging sensor with our blazingly fast X Processor 4 processing engine to create a combination capable of outputting 16-bit images with amazing color fidelity, rich shadow detail, and incredible dynamic range. Its back-illuminated structure enhances image quality by bringing the exposure plane closer to the color filter array. This minimizes noise levels from that typically experienced with mirrorless cameras and extends the native ISO to ISO 100. Sharpness is also enhanced, while moire and false colors are near eliminated through the omission of an optical low-pass filter. Lastly, the inclusion of a motion sensor retention mechanism suppresses even the slightest vibrations that may be caused by camera shake or the even the movement of the shutter.
